PRODUCTION MANAGER (CHEMICALS)

*SALARY: UP TO $150K

*15% BONUS

*LOCATION: Louisiana

•·  B.S. Chemical Engineer or related technical background

•·  5+ years Chemical Plant experience and direct supervisory experience

•·  Knowledge of ISO Standards

•·  Effective problem solving skills, implement solutions to complex unanticipated issues, impacting production of Rubber Units.

•·  Manage Production Department to ensure optimum production, safety, efficiency, and profitability

•·  Ensure that all operations comply with all legal standards

•·  Troubleshoot process-operating problems to improve plant operation

•·  Organize the workforce to ensure proper department staffing

•·  Motivate the workforce to achieve day to day desired results

•·  Develop and initiate process and quality continuous improvement

•·  Develop and maintain standard operating and quality procedures

•·  Train hourly and salary department personnel

•·  Coordinate operational activities with other managers and corporate

•·  Review operating budget

•·  Monitor process equipment condition and provide input regarding repair or replacement

•·  Assume Plant Manager responsibilities in his absence

•·  Participate on corporate Process Safety Standards Committee

•·  Assist and provide input for the design of new technology and equipment

•·  Ensure the operation of any new equipment is carried out in a safe and efficient manner

•·  Assist in effort to make plant totally environmentally sound from beginning to end of process.
