[Responsibilities]
- Develop and execute in vitro assays for T cell engager (TCE) programs and contribute to platform establishment, including cancer cell culture, immune cell (PBMC/T cell) handling, and optimization of co-culture conditions
- Perform in vitro killing and effector function assays, including quantitative cytotoxicity assessments
- Lead experimental design and data-driven decision-making processes, from study design and execution to data interpretation and recommendation of next actions (optimization, deprioritization, or advancement)
- Drive assay robustness, reproducibility, and continuous improvement of TCE evaluation platforms
[Basic Qualifications (Required)]
- M.S. or Ph.D. in Biology, Immunology, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, or a related field
- Approximately 5 years of industry experience in immuno-oncology or antibody-based biologics research
- Strong expertise in cancer cell culture and cell-based assay design and execution
- Hands-on experience in T cell/PBMC co-culture-based in vitro killing assays with quantitative readouts
- Proficiency in flow cytometry for immune profiling (e.g., activation, exhaustion markers) and data analysis
- Demonstrated ability to optimize assay conditions, troubleshoot technical challenges, and ensure experimental reproducibility
- Self-driven, execution-focused mindset with strong ownership of projects and the ability to translate data into actionable decisions
[Preferred Qualifications]
- Hands-on experience in T cell engager (TCE) development, with a leading role in at least one stage from design to in vitro proof-of-concept (POC) and/or lead optimization
- Experience comparing different TCE formats and mechanisms, including affinity tuning, CD3 arm design, and safety considerations
- Advanced mechanism-of-action (MOA) characterization experience (e.g., phospho-flow, activation signaling analysis, immune synapse/engagement quantification, target density-dependent activity assessment)
- Experience evaluating cytokine release and over-activation risks from an in vitro safety perspective
- Track record of scientific achievements, including publications and/or patents
- Experience in regulatory documentation for TCE or immuno-oncology antibody programs, including FDA and/or MFDS IND submissions
- Eligibility for the Korean Alternative Military Service Program (Specialized Research Personnel) and ability to work in Korea
- Fluency in English for global scientic communication and publications is required; additional proficency in Korean is a plus
