Job Title

Continuous Process Development Research Scientist

Key Responsibility

- Conduct process development and optimization research for pharmaceutical intermediates and active pharmaceutical ingredient.

- Perform laboratory-scale experiments, including reaction route selection and optimization of process parameters

- Investigate and ensure the reproducibility of developed processes

- Develop continuous processes based on an understanding of continuous reaction equipment

- Install and utilize continuous processing equipment for process development research

- Conduct process safety evaluation for developed processes prior to commercial manufacturing

- Prepare comprehensive technical packages for technology transfer to manufacturing

- Facilitate the successful transfer of developed processes to production engineers

- Collaborate closely with production engineers to provide technical support for commercial manufacturing

- Investigate and resolve any technical issues or deviations that occur during commercial production

Required Qualifications

- Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Organic Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related field

Preferred Qualifications

- Prior research and development experience within the pharmaceutical industry or relevant research areas

- Prior experience in continuous process research or a strong understanding of continuous processing equipment

- Excellent communication skills in English
